General Information

The Armenian Evangelical Secondary School in Anjar is an educational institution on High School level, which serves the educational and social needs of Armenian students. It has been dedicated to a common cause, to acknowledge God's word and message of Christ, as well as to help students receive their education . The administration of the school, accompanied by members of the Board of trustees, continues to serve the educational, spiritual and financial needs of the students.

THE CAMPUS: The school is located in Anjar, a small town in Bekaa Valley on the eastern side of Lebanon. The hillside campus provides the students with the necessary climate and clean, unpolluted atmosphere for the school life. The campus is surrounded beautifully by a green landscape,   it was awarded  having the best campus in Bekaa region. The campus provides football , basketball , volleyball fields and a small forest. 

CLASSROOMS: The classrooms have been constructed and situated at different locations on the campus, they are classified according to the divisions. Such as KINDERGARTEN, ELEMENTARY and SECONDARY classes.

Several buildings surround the campus:

a) The Hedwig Hall: The hall was built in 1976 and is named after its first missionary principal  missionary Sister Hedwig Aeinshanslein. The construction was financed  by the donation Dr.&Mrs. Puzant Krikorian of the CMC hospital-Beirut . Since then it has become a cultural center in Anjar. Every morning the students of the secondary section have their chapel session there.

b) The church: Every morning, the elementary students receive chapel service.

c) The Library and Laboratory Building: Mr.s Philibossian and Gulbenkian erected this building.

The laboratory helps the students in the teaching process by using their skills in handling tools.

The library provides students with books in three languages; Armenian, Arabic and English.  

d) Registrar's office, Teachers' room, Alumni Association's office are some basic components that can be mentioned.

Nursery School or Kindergarten: Children  learn alphabet in three languages play and grow. It is well equipped, decorated and comfortable enough to give a cozy atmosphere for children to feel at home.
