General Information
The
Armenian Evangelical Secondary School in Anjar is an educational institution on
High School level, which serves the educational and social needs of Armenian
students. It has been dedicated to a common cause, to acknowledge God's word and
message of Christ, as well as to help students receive their education .
THE
CAMPUS:
CLASSROOMS:
Several
buildings surround the campus:
a)
The Hedwig
Hall: The hall
was built in 1976 and is
named after its first missionary principal missionary Sister Hedwig
Aeinshanslein. The construction was financed by the donation Dr.&Mrs. Puzant Krikorian of the CMC hospital-Beirut
. Since then it has become a cultural center in Anjar. Every morning the
students of the secondary section have their chapel session there.
b) The church: Every morning, the elementary students receive chapel service.
c)
The Library and Laboratory
Building: Mr.s Philibossian
and Gulbenkian erected this building.
The
laboratory helps the students in the teaching process by using their skills in
handling tools.
The
library provides students with books in three languages; Armenian, Arabic and
English.
d)
Registrar's office, Teachers' room, Alumni Association's office are some
basic components that can be mentioned.
Nursery
School or
Kindergarten:
Children learn
alphabet in three languages play and grow. It is well equipped, decorated and
comfortable enough to give a cozy atmosphere for children to feel at home.
