Activities in the school

The Armenian Evangelical Secondary School in Anjar once again opened its doors on the 29th of September,1999,to welcome its students. The first day of  school was an "open house". Parents, guests and students had the chance to visit all the classes, the library, the laboratory, and the rest of the premises. 

Festivities started at 9:00 AM with Davoul Zourna. A large group of parents, teachers and students danced
the Anjarian dance. After the davoul-zourna, the guests, the parents and the students went to Hedwig Hall,
where after playing Lebanon's and Armenia's national anthems a word was given by Mr. Sebouh Skayan
(the Mayor of Anjar). His presence was greatly appreciated.The students of the elementary section danced two folk dances. Words were given by the representative of the Parents' committee Mrs. Hera Chaparian (Kendirjian), Students' representative Mr. Hovig Demirjian,and President of the Alumni Association Sebouh Boyadjian.

Activities were financed  by Mr. Panos Panoyan. 

At the end of a short program in the Hedwig Hall, the homeroom teachers with their students and parents
entered classes after cutting ribbons at the classroom doors. later, every class teacher cut a cake and spent  good time and had fun  with the students and the parents.
