History and Recent Activities of the Association

By the donation of people in Anjar, graduates from Zahleh, Beirut, U.S.A., and Canada, the Association was able to raise the funds necessary for the construction of sister Hedwig'’s bust. the executive comm.of the graduates in Los Angles provided a thousand dollar financial donation.  Mr. Zaven Khedeshian, the talented artist, accomplished that. The bust was placed at the center of the campus and there was a celebration on the opening day, 22nd November 1987 at 11a.m.
Representatives of different organizations and a good number of the natives who knew sister Hedwig were present. The School's choir took part in the celebration.

The Alumni Association of AESS is very eager to have different kinds of activities in different aspects, always having in mind to bring  together  the old and the new graduates as well as the undergraduates on different occasions, under one roof of our beloved school: ARMENIAN EVANGELICAL SECONDARY SCHOOL.
